1. it falls on" vaishaka shudda tadigae"
2. perform the gowri pooja
3. prepare sajjigae,panaka,kosumbari,milk ,(with sugar) or payasa,for naivedaya
4. prepare rice dishes for naivedya
5. give arishina,kukuma blouse -piece, to married people,or you can give moradda bagina also.
6. on this day have to do dana(offernings) any thing thats affordable to us
7. that means any thing done will be akshaya.
8. all good thingswill be done on this day,like "gruhapravesha"marriage,etc
9. people will purchase "gold or silver" items on this day
