Mannethina Amavasaya
- it falls on "jaeshta bahula amavasaya"or "karamavasya"
- on this day bring 2- "mud basava(mannina basava)"to all male childrens (gandu makkalu)at home
- spread rice on a tatte(plate) ,keep basava on it ,put chakkuli on basavas horns and do pooja do arathi to childrens(boys)
- keep payasa ,chakkuli for naivedya
- prepare "habbada adigae"
- its done for the wel fare of boys,on that day they will be given oil bath
- give arishina kukuma for muthiydae along with "oondae""chakkuli'
